Of circular form on four shell scroll feet, the lower body chased with lobing, the gadrooned rim with ovals, foliate scrolls, rocaille and shells at intervals, with two shell scroll flat handles, the domed cover chased with a band of dentilation, with openwork shell handle, the body engraved front and back with a crest, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms and two crests,marked on base, cover and handle--15¾in. (40 cm.)
