A REGENCY FOUR-PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE ON TRAY
LONDON, 1813, MAKER'S MARK OF PAUL STORR; THE STAND AND LAMP 1814

Comprising a coffee jug, stand and lamp, teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl; each vase shaped on a spreading circular foot chased with a band of dentilation, with reeded mid-rim and applied gadrooned rim with foliate scrolls, shells and rocaille at intervals and with egg-and-dart band at the rim, the coffee jug and teapot each with acanthus scroll spout, the ivory scroll handle with snake form socket, the hinged domed cover with fluted ivory bead finial, the stand raised on four foliate scroll feet, with similar rim and with removable cylindrical lamp enclosed by a pierced foliate border, the cream jug and sugar bowl with snake form loop handle; the shaped oval tray on four foliate scroll feet, with similar rim and two reeded acanthus handles, each piece engraved with a coat-of-arms and helm within foliate mantling, the tray engraved with same arms with crest and motto, the lamp with another crest, fully marked--10 5/8in.
