Of circular form on a spreading circular foot cast and chased with a band of acanthus on a matted ground, with two reeded acanthus and shell handles and applied acanthus and lobed rim, the domed cover with foliate finial rising above a calyx of acanthus leaves, the cover engraved with a crest and motto, marked on body, cover and calyx--8¾ in.
