LATE 19TH CENTURY, BEARING INTERLACED L'S AND VARIOUS DATE LETTERS
The waisted dome covers with a band of flowers above the pierced neck, the lower sections painted in colours with 'The Flute Lesson' after Boucher and a scene of a couple dancing in a garden; within gilt scrolling foliage surrounds; the reserves with landscapes reserved on the blue-ground flanked by open scroll handles headed by female busts tapering to the circular base and gilt-bronze circular plinth cast with berried laurel beads and paterae--28½in. high
