Gelatin silver print. 1962. Signed in pencil on the mount; typed label with notation In the early sixties Minor White used to use our house in New York City as his base when he came down from Rochester. Each time he'd bring a print as a house gift. Most of his print-gifts gave me the glooms, but this one seems to me a Midsummer Night's Dream. The subject might have been ice crystals on the window, but I've never seen crystals like these on my windows affixed to the reverse of the mount. 9.18 x 7¼in. (23.3 x 18.4cm.)
