Each with two bombé form sleeves with auricular ornament and foliage against pierced trellis work, joined by pierced brackets and a leaf clad scroll handle, the handles engraved with a crest and coronet, now with cut-glass bottles and foliate stoppers, marked under bases, and with scratch weights No 1 18=6, No 2 18=9

The crest and coronet are those of Cecil for Brownlow, as borne by the 9th Earl of Exeter (1725-1793). He married Letitia, daughter of Horatio Townsend in 1749.
