ENCIRCLED YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The globular body moulded with four raised lobes, finely pencilled in underglazed-blue and enamelled in soft yellow, aubergine, green and shaded iron-red tones with an Indian lotus scroll around the body divided by ruyi-shaped petals flanked by further lotus scrolls to the shoulder and around the base, the tall cylidrical neck with a border of ruyi-heads bellow classic scroll beneath the rim--4in. A vase included in the Exhibtion of Ch'ing Porcelain from The Wah Kwong Collection, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, no. 81; as well as the Exhibition of Ming and Ch'ing Porcealin from the Collection of the T.Y.
