Carved to each side of the rectangular body with an archaistic bird in relief with eyes, wings and feathers well defined, below pairs of stylized chilong, the cover with further confronted chilong below a related bird finial, the everted spout with curled tip, suspending a loose ring, opposite the reticulated handle with scrolling elements, all supported on a splayed foot with two tiers of overlapping lotus petals, the stone of even pale celadon stone, carved with an apocrypal Qianlong six-charater mark at the foot--14in.
