Carved in high relief with a chilong clambering over the rim, entwined in the scrolling bracket handle above an animal-mask suspending a loose-ring, an exotic phoenix-head beneath the rounded spout and a flaming pearl on the interior of the rim, the body with low relief chilong among archaistic motifs, the stone of even tone with minor russet inclusions--8¼in. (21cm.) high
