Well carved in relief in the center of the interior with a graceful medallion of wannianqing, nandina, chrysanthemums, bamboo and aster, the exterior crisply delineated by two grooved bands, one below the flat rim, the other tapering to the edge of the slightly convex base raised on six ruyi-head supports, with a pair of loop handles formed by dragons with out-spread, foliate wings and long curled brows extending out and back to the rim above a loose ring, the well-polished stone semi-translucent and of even colour--12½in. (31.7cm.) diam.
