A Fine and Rare English Cast Iron Fire Back
Probably mid 16th century
Of rectangular outline, cast with three arched panels containing crowned rosettes, each with a further rosette below, interspersed with registers of Gothic trefoil crestings, fleur de lis and ropetwist ornament, all within a threequarter ropetwist border
