Queen Victoria's chemise of white linen, with cutwork decoration and Valenciennes lace trimming at the short sleeves

The chemise was supposed to have been given to Mrs Becknell, an employee in HLM Queen Victoria's household. Mrs Becknall subsequently gave them to Mrs Geheimrat Schenk of Karlsruhe, a friend and wife of the medical adviser of the Grossherzogin of Baden.
