Circa 1765-70, both with anchor and dagger marks in iron-red, one with blue dagger mark and one with cross and four dots mark in underglaze-blue
Modelled as a lady and gentleman seated on tree-stumps flanked by flowering foliage, she wearing pink jacket and yellow, pink and green flowered skirt playing the zither, he with yellow and blue hat, pink jacket, green flowered waistcoat and yellow and pink flowered breeches and playing a cornet and side-drum, both on pierced scrollwork bases enriched in pink, green and gilding (she with restoration to one hand, instrument and foliage, he with restoration to hat, cornet, drumstick, drum ties, and foliage, other minor chips)
