(Some light dampstaining, mostly marginal worming and occasional marginal dust soiling). Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, spine with 5 raised bands and old white paper pasted over, 19th-century central gilt stamp to covers (some worming to covers, wear to lower corners, upper joint cracked with strong cords, traces of clasps). Provenance: Early ownership inscription on front flyleaf; Society of Writers to the Signet (19th-century gilt stamp in center of both covers).
