Apparently unmarked, probably East-European, first half 19th Century
Set on four ball supports, the shaped oblong base decorated with stylised foliate engine turned bands, the gilt tapering cylindrical stem mounted with filigree-work flowerheads and floral motifs, the square filigree spice-section decorated with flowerheads inset with red stones, fitted with hinged door and four shaped flags on the corners, the gilt bell-tower decorated with palmette, hung with a gilt bell inside, the tapering cylindrical gilt spire mounted with conforming filigree-work flowerheads and scrolling foliage, topped by a shaped pennant and a ball finial
