Ensuite with the preceding lot, each vase-form with canted corners, the sides and covers flat-chased, mid 18th century, with chinoiserie scenes, the cover engraved, circa 1756, with a coat-of-arms within an asymmetrical foliate scroll cartouche, marked under bases and covers, also with scratchweight 3=4=0 and 3=3=0

The arms are those of Wilson impaling Freke, as borne by Edward Warter Wilson and his wife, Frances Anne, daughter of George Freke 2nd Baron Carbery. They were married on September 1, 1756.
