An Italian ormolu-mounted pietra dura and ebonised architectural table cabinet-on-stand

With baluster parapet with spheroid finials to the corners and centred by a drawer flanked to each side by the figure of a king, above three further drawers each fronted as a window and with Corinthian columns between, the lower tier, centred by a pull-out door and containing a pair of secret reverse drawers, flanked to each side by a further door, each fronted as an arched window and containing a further two drawers, above steps to a balustrade mounted with figures of Roman emperors above further steps, on associated rectangular ebonised stand, on stepped tapering legs
The cabinet: 27¼ in. (69 cm.) wide; 34¾ in. (88.2 cm.) high; 15½ in. (39.4 cm.) deep
The stand: 33½ in. (85 cm.) wide; 30½ in. (77.5 cm.) high; 20 in. (50.8 cm.) deep
