The Sheraton B was the more expensive of the two Sheraton models in the open-horn Gramophone range of 1907-8, second only to the New Melba. This example has a Gramophone & Typewriter transfer, indicating that the case, at least, was probably completed by November 1907. These machines originally had brass Morning Glory horns, but most were equipped with mahogany horns after these first appeared in 1908
