Newark, N.J., five-shot cylinder, breech face not cut for spring plate, walnut grips; Serial no. 45296 (numbered at the approximate transition of Series III/IV), 6½ inch barrel marked Manhattan Fire Arms Co. Newark N.J., with spring plate, walnut grips.
No. 31960, replaced fore-sight, cut for rear sight (lacking), replaced arbour and wedge, barrel backed, heavy grey patina; No. 45296, traces of original blue and silver plate, barrel lug re-numbered (but appears to have been the original barrel). (2)
