Inlaid overall with ebonised lines and crossbanded in tulipwood, the crossbanded breakfront rectangular top with rounded sides, above a central frieze drawer flanked on the right by a deep zinc-lined cellaret drawer simulated as two drawers and on the left by one drawer and a hinged door simulated as two drawers, on ring-turned tapering reeded legs headed by shaped panels, minor restorations, inscribed in chalk to the underside 'G36', the top with six filled fillets for plate stops
