The rectangular pierced back with shaped C-scroll and acanthus-wrapped toprail above stop-fluted sides and a pierced C-scroll and Gothic vase-shaped splat, above a padded seat covered in close-nailed ivory- coloured velvet on square chamferred legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, restorations, inscribed in chalk to the underside '12 Oct 1967'
