THREE ETRUSCAN BRONZE CISTA FEET
Circa 5th Century B.C.

Each cast in the form of a four-winged deity above a lion's paw, with the legs in shallow relief in front of the lower wings, bent at the knee and extending out, the hands at the waist with elbows akimbo, wearing a short garment patterned with incised lines and stippling, with three disk-shaped projections from the head, the upper wings pierced for attachment, some with original pins in place, each 3 1/2in. (8.9cm.) high including tenon (3)
