drypoint, 1888, on laid paper, first state (of four), signed in pencil, inscribed 'No 3 1ier état/Epreuve d'artiste/bonne faisant son marché', a proof apart from the edition of 80 published in the Revue Indépendante, with full margins, a loss at the tip of the top right margin corner, a tiny crease at the tip of the bottom left margin corner, otherwise in good condition
