Private Rupert Eley Docker, originally from Worthing, Sussex was wounded on 10.10.1916 and was killed in action on 12.4.1917 at Fampoix, where hundreds of South African troops were killed or wounded by artillery or machine-gun fire (See Pyramids and Poppies by Peter K.A. Digby)
