A fresh patchwork coverlet pieced from hexagon patches of various chintz forming flowerheads around a large central patch printed with a spray of naturalistic roses, with various prints including Chinoiserie and Gothic designs, within a frame of triangles forming linked squares and an outer border of ivory chintz printed with brown scrolls framing green trefoil sprigs, reversing to cotton printed in ivory, purple and black with a seaweed design--86 x 94in.
