A fresh coloured patchwork quilt pieced from various mainly floral printed cottons, the central frame enclosing an eight pointed star, the field with a red berry print against a white ground, within three borders, a square in each corner, with two further side borders, elaborately quilted with various patterns including fans, roundels, leaves and spirals, infilled with cross hatching, the central roundel embroidered in red on the reverse with "MR 1821"--98 x 88in. (245 x 220cm.), possibly Welsh, slight damage
