A two-piece stage suit of cream wool, the single-breasted jacket with high collar, flared split cuffs trimmed with two rows of black suede-covered buttons, and black suede pocket flaps lined in white satin, labelled inside IC Costume Co. Hollywood, California; the trousers with flared legs decorated with an inset panel of black satin, similarly labelled -- made for Elvis circa, 1972; accompanied by a note from Chiro Romano, a former Director of the IC Costume Co. stating that This white suit...was made from a sketch designed by Bill Belew, especially for Elvis in 1972, the note decorated with a colour xerox of Elvis wearing a similar suit on stage; a note from Richard Grob, Elvis's personal bodyguard from 1967 until 1977, states that this suit was worn by Elvis both on and off stage; three corresponding colour snap-shots of Elvis on stage; and a corresponding colour machine-print photograph of Elvis at a publicity event -- 14x10in.
