In the Gothic Revival style, formed as a standing figure of the crowned Virgin Mary, holding lilies in her right hand and a gem-set bible in her left hand, within an openwork niche, the back pierced with fleur-de-lys latticework and with ogee arched canopy above, supported on lapis-lazuli columns, with lapis-lazuli holy-water stoup beneath, marked on figure, canopy and back-plate
