The scrolled crest with raised central tablet above five bannisters flanked by conforming stiles, all continuing and bending to form a trapezoidal seat, on klismos legs with hoof feet joined by double box-stretchers, all painted cream with brown details and foliate paint-decoration in brown, black and green on the stiles, front seat rail and legs, the central bannister paint-decorated as a peacock feather, the underside of the seatrails stamped, S.
