The only other known example of the five original Beatles' signatures were sold through these rooms on August 25th, 1988.

These autographs were obtained in Liverpool in 1961 by an ardent Beatle fan. She recalls that when she first saw The Beatles they had just returned from their second visit to Hamburg. At that time in 1961, they had relatively few fans and were very accessible, she and her girlfriends used to share their Coca-Cola's with the group, and accompany The Beatles to venues around Liverpool, getting lifts with them in their van. John Lennon was the vendor's favourite Beatle, and George Harrison took the number 2 position in her affections. She was a regular visitor to The Cavern Club and used to run the gauntlet of her mother's disapproval by going to the all night sessions held there, which finished at around 5 am. The vendor stopped going to see her favourite group when their immense popularity meant that fans had to queue for hours to get tickets to see them, and when the girls in the audience started to scream at their concerts.
