painted and gilt with a central landscape cartouche of European style buildings, the border with cartouches of doves in a flowering garden and dogs seated beneath a tree in a mountainous landscape, the crest with a hand holding a dagger beside a cross and above a ship, facing a seated cat beneath the motto 'Touch Not The Cat But The Glove' -- 9in. (23cms) diam, Qianlong, (slight restoration to rim).
