A Chinese blue and white footed bowl
with flaring rim, painted with figures seated among flowers and bamboo issuing from pierced rockwork -- 4.5/8in. (11.7cms) diam, Wanli six character mark and of the period, (small rim chip); and a further Ming blue and white bowl with dragons among scrolling lotus -- 5in. (12.7cms) diam, four character mark to base.
