A 13-inch (33cm.) diameter terrestrial relief globe made up of twelve coloured printed and 'raised' gores and two polar calottes, a blank cartouche applied below the trade label, the equator and prime meridian graduated in degrees, no ecliptic shown, the oceans showing variances of depth by differing shades of blue and depths in feet, labelled with ocean currents, west and east of the south of India labelled respectively Monsun im Winter and Trift im Sommer, the dotted line around the southern hemisphere labelled Äu erste Treibeisgrenze, the continents delicately coloured in yellow, showing rivers, towns and national and state boundaries, with engraved brass meridian half circle, on turned fruitwood column and plinth base with inlaid compass -- 25½in. (64.8cm.) high
