Terpsichore, was a 42-ton racing cutter built for Commander R.C. Tatnall, R.N., by T. Wanhill at Poole in 1863. During her maiden season, she took part in a notable race from Ryde to Cherbourg which was run in particularly wild weather and was to be the most notable match of 1863.
