incised and gilt qianlong six-character mark
The opaque green glass with a paler foot and a rich apple-green at the shoulder finely engraved with a diamond-point with a continuous landscape of mountains, pavilions and trees beside a lake with figures on boats and on horseback, below a narrow key-pattern band at the mouth suspending a ruyi-cloud collar with scrolling extensions

A pink glass bottle vase in the Bristol Museum has a similar landscape decoration incised in this most unusual technique. Chinese glass carvers almost invariably used skills derived from carving hardstones or grinding on a lapidiary wheel.
