the outer edge with scrolling foliage on a fluted ground; outer scotia; the raised edge of the cavetto swept; the corners with acanthus leaves on a stippled ground inside C scrolls and with other rocaille motifs; the centres with scallop-shells, also on stippled grounds in cartouches of C scrolls; the sides of the cavetto with flower sprays and foliage on cross-hatched grounds; raised astragal; recessed sanded band; taenia; a slight ogee with fleur-de-lis and C scrolls on a fluted ground; minor cavetto; sight edge -- 35 3/4 x 25 x 7 1/2 in.
