A William IV inkstand
of shaped oblong form, the foot and border cast in high relief with various flowerheads, husks and scrolls, fitted with two mounted cut-glass bottles flanking a central box of baluster outline with a cover in the form of a taperstick with a snuffer on chain, by Messrs Barnard, 1835, engraved with a coat of arms - 31cm long, 42oz weighable silver.
