1933 GOUDEY LAJOIE CARD
A 1933 R319 # 106 Napoleon Lajoie card. The card was meant to be included in the 1933 sets was but was not produced until 1934. Examples of the card were only mailed to those collectors who wrote to Goudey about the missing card, making it one of the rarest cards ever issued. Most of the time the card was paper clipped to the letter from Goudey leaving marks. The Lajoie is considered one of the three most desirable cards in the hobby. This example is one of the only three that have ever been graded a "9" by PSA grading service. Nine is the highest grade PSA has ever given to a 1933 Lajoie card.
