Circular, on four foliate scroll and rocaille feet, the two leaf-clad fluted upswept handles with acanthus joins, the gadrooned rim with shells and acanthus at intervals, the domed cover with floral finial, the tureen engraved with a coat-of-arms, crest and motto within foliate cartouche, the cover engraved with a crest, marked under base, cover and finial, and stamped with GARRARDS Panton Street LONDON
