Album of 109 gelatin silver prints, 2¾ x 4 in. to 9 3/8 x 11½ in., including seven panoramas, approx. 3 x 11¼ in., one signed Willie Burke in the negative, three with blindstamps Johnston & Hoffmann, India (2) and A.R. Datt on recto, ink manuscript captions and two title pages, half morocco, ruled in gilt, oblong 4to.; with accompanying correspondence relating to Captain Frederick Poynder.

The album, compiled by Capt. Frederick Poynder, chronicles the two tours of the Duke of Connaught and the Prince of Wales and includes one portrait signed by the Prince Edward P., portraits including Earl Mountbatten, group portraits with government officials, the Maharaja of Udaipur and Indian staff, official ceremonies, game-shooting camps, polo games, a paper chase and the ship H.M.S. Malaya.
