Sixty-nine small photographs follow the construction of a power station in Bombay between 1909 and 1911, followed by twelve large photographs of the exterior and interior of substations, trams at 'Pydowni Junction', along Grant Road and at the Colaba Car Shed. Also including details of specific pieces of equipment, many showing technical faults, others illustrating examples of machinery being exported to India including pieces by the British Thomson-Houston Co. of Rugby. The album finishes with a series of views of the Kussara Power Station between 1919 and 1926, a photograph of the Dundee and Broughty Ferry transformers and seven photographs of the Belfast Power Station, 1905, two of these by Welch.
