Oval box, the cover centred by an oval purple foiled quartz plaque applied with carved hardstones and glass depicting fruit, in a gold mount, on a ground decorated with a scalework of petal-shaped hardstone panels within engraved gold mounts with numbers engraved on silver plaques, the sides and the base with matching panels, similarly numbered, the total counting from 1 to 93, including gems and a pearl on the cover and a central oval porcelain plaque on the base painted with the Meissen Porcelain Factory, the burnished gold borders encrusted with simulated pearls alternating with flowerheads in blue and red hardstones
