2 volumes in one, 4°. Engraved titles by Jacob Picinus, 37 engraved portraits. (Clean tear in lower margin of first title just affecting image, D2 in vol. I holed with loss of ca. 2 words to 3 lines, lower outer corner of Oo1 torn away, some light browning.) Contemporary calf, spine elaborately gilt-tooled in compartments (front joints cracked at head and tail of spine, very rubbed).
