Album of seventy-five individual photographs and one two-print panorama, the former comprising forty-two large prints, approx. 10 x 12½ in. or the reverse, these titled, numbered and with photographer's credit J. Laurent, Madrid in the negatives, one other similarly credited cropped to panoramic format 3¾ x 11.5/8 in., the majority of others approx. 8½ x 6¼ in. or the reverse, with two other panoramas 4½ x 11¼ in. and a two-part panorama 6½ x 14¾ in., two mounted as cabinet cards, majority of those without titles in the negatives titled in ink on mounts, half maroon morocco, ruled gilt, g.e., oblong folio.

A good album comprising four views of Orléans, three of Bordeaux and one panoramic view each of Bayonne and Biarritz; with forty-three Spanish views by Laurent including townscapes and architecture of San Sebastian, Burgos, Madrid, El Escorial, Aranjuez, Toledo, Cordoba, Sevilla and Cadiz and six reproductions of paintings by Raphael, Titian, Velasquez and Murillo; ten other smaller views in Spain; a two-part panorama and three others of Gibraltar; two small views and four portraits from Tangiers; two cabinet card costume portraits by J. Oses of Malaga; and two copies of drawings of the Paris Exhibition, these dated in ink on mount, 1878.
