Gagliardi, Milan, with maker's name engraved on metal label inside front cover, front cover with applied metal figure of an archangel guarding an eagle in chains, with heraldic corner pieces engraved Trento, Istria, Gorizia & Gradisca, and Trieste, linked by chainwork border (inner hinges weak), g.e., lge. 4to.
