Album containing 193 cartes-de-visite, a few autographed and the majority inscribed in ink/pencil and with photographers' printed credits on mounts or on verso, loosely mounted in pre-cut window mounts with gilt borders, identified and several with sitters' birth and death dates in pencil in a later hand on mounts, marquetry boards in panels constructed on the cube form (new morocco spine and slight damage to edge of upper cover), gilt inner dentelles, g.e., lge. 4to.; with two cabinet cards and seventeen cartes-de-visite loosely inserted.
