Yu Xiang Guan Bao Four-Character Seal Mark, Qianlong
The thin bowl finely and unusually carved as an outer layer of overlapping petals rising from a thin ring foot to encase a plain inner bowl with narrow, stepped rim, with a narrow space between the outer petal layer and the inner wall which extends two thirds of the way down the sides to where the walls of the bowl become one, creating a ridge on the interior, the cover similarly carved below a hollowed bud finial vertically pierced between each of the slender ridged petals, the translucent stone of soft moss-green color with darker green markings throughout
