TWO SMALL SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY VESSELS

One a globular jar, with irregular streaks of green and two shades of amber glaze draining from a shallow groove encircling the mouth rim to the flat base; the other a shallow bowl molded on the exterior with two rows of florettes on a hatchured ground and on the base with a large flowerhead, splashed inside and out in amber, green and straw glazes; together with a painted buff pottery figure of a seated lady, Tang dynasty, with right arm draped over her bent knee, her hair dressed in a crescent coif, with traces of red and black pigment
