The figure modeled in a dynamic pose with arms outstretched across the chest as if to draw a bow, clothed in a crisply defined military tunic consisting of animal-mask epaulets, cord-tied breast plates and layered tunics bound around the hips with a cord from which is suspended a floral fitting, the body covered with a mottled glaze of green, amber and cream, the unglazed head well modeled with furrowed brow above bulging eyes, a pronounced nose, mustache and down-turned lips, detailed in pigment
