A SAILOR MADE MODEL OF THE FOUR MASTED SHIP PARMA
A solid hull model built up with black topsides and white bottom, rubbing strake and other hull detail. The decks of the model are scored veneer which have been stained a walnut color. Other details include: pinrails, bollards, ventilators, railings, cargo hatches, anchor davits, fife rails, companionways, binnacles, ship's wheels, coils of line and skylights. The masts are rigged with ratlines, tree tops, bracing lines, backstays and sheets. The model is displayed in a mahogany case and is accompanied by an album with photographs of the ship and letters from the model builder, 3 x 14 x 20in. (7.1 x 35.1 x 50.8 cm.)
